According to the International Data Corp., online college enrollments are growing by 33% a year. The National Center for Educational Statistics claims that 8% of the 16.5 million undergraduates in 1999 & 2000 were enrolled in distance education programs. 60% were using the internet to do so. Can you blame them? It’s impossible for adults to return to a traditional, residential school when they have full-time jobs a family and countless other responsibilities.
